Return to Play Guidelines General Guidelines Required for Teams
Health Check: All teams will monitor the health of Players and Parents including having access to a forehead thermotropy scanner to check temp. A supply will be available at fields in the event there is concern after arrival. Parents and coaches will be responsible to ensure that all players are free from any symptoms of sickness.
Delayed Entry: Teams shall not enter the park until 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time.
NO TOUCH RULE: All Players will no longer “High Five Players” or fist bump. Tip of Cap recommended at conclusion of games.
EQUIPMENT: All Players should use their own equipment during the course of the game or practice.
PLAYER DISTANCING: All Players should space themselves as much as possible during warmups. All Players when not playing will be appropriately spaced on bench, behind dugout and so forth.
COACH DISTANCING: Coaches will maintain appropriate distancing during umpire meeting, when communicating with players, and in dugouts.
FAN DISTANCING: Any parents or observers will follow social distancing guidelines when watching the game. We recommend fans wear a mask or facial covering for the safety of all.
FACILITY COMPLIANCE: Any facility used for an event will follow all health regulations including but not limited to food items, worker cleanliness and protection, and restroom sanitizing.
STAY SAFE PROTOCOL: Maintain social distancing from the time we get out of the car to the time we leave. Everyone is looking forward to SAFELY getting back on the field. Accordingly, from warming up, to spacing during pre-game drills, to team meetings, to spacing on the bench, to fans spreading out, we will make every effort to follow all guidelines and Incorporate the New Norm so we can get back to baseball.
